About this app

This version of Light Flow is for Android 6.0 users who do not wish to have a persistent notification icon.

It has the same features as the standard version of Light Flow minus the following:

- Android 6.0 Run-time permissions
- Camera flash control
- Alarm only mode notification

If you have the standard full version installed this app will give you the features of the full version.

If you don't have the full version installed, it will give you the features of the lite version.

See the reason for the existence of this version here: http://www.reactle.com/2015/11/android-6-persistent-notification-icon.html

If after disabling the full version you still have a persistent notification try going into your phone settings, apps, select "light flow" (ie not light flow legacy) and press "force stop"

I finally got this to work on Android 11! I had to give LightFlow every LED notification priority in the settings that it needs (you really have to search for them all). The lights turn off when I turn the screen on (and come back on when I turn the screen off) which isn't what I remember from my previous phone, but I hope to contact the developer to see if there's a workaround. I came close to giving up, but I'm glad I didn't!

Loved this app and what it does but as soon as I stepped up to Oreo 8.0, it stopped working on my LG v30 and there are no settings that seem to remedy the situation. I've written for support on at least two separate occasions and the developer was totally unresponsive. I'm very disappointed with the lack of support. I purchased the license key as well. Well, wasted money. Clearly the developer no longer supports this app. What a shame. Looks like some effort and thought went into it.

I finally uninstalled because the owners just gave up and walked away. I have been using this app on all my Samsung Galaxy phones throughout the years. It crashes all the time now. The last update was October, 2018. Very disappointed in this App now. Have been sending emails over the last year with no responses. They used to respond within half a day but now nothing at all. Just terrible.
